The best exercise for changing from single to double strokes. A normal 8th note kick pattern over a simple beat. Practice with your leading foot first. Nearly all beats used in metal are based on this pattern. Learnign this will allow more control over your double strokes and eventually allow you to play variations which are in the next video. I have posted some more videos of different beats using double strokes instead of single strokes. Enjoy.
