That’s right. Two 100% IV shiny Pokémon in one event. The odds alone make this absolutely mind-blowing, but that was just the beginning of everything that went down at GO Tour LA.
The massive highlight of the weekend was the debut of Mega Dragonite in Pokémon GO. Trainers were lining up raid lobbies all day to power up this fan-favorite pseudo-legendary in its Mega form. With boosted energy gains and coordinated raid groups across Los Angeles, Mega Dragonite instantly became one of the most exciting raid bosses we’ve seen at a live event.
But the shiny releases made this event even more legendary.
Brand new shiny Klefki made its appearance, giving regional collectors something huge to chase. Shiny Hawlucha also entered the game, creating serious hype among PvP players and shiny hunters alike. And if that wasn’t enough, shiny Honedge joined the roster, adding another highly anticipated shiny to the Kalos lineup.
