Vytautas Didysis Gymnasium in Vilnius, Lithuania, now features a state-of-the-art glass dome built
by VikingDome. This innovative outdoor classroom enhances modern education by providing a
cutting-edge learning environment within the schoolyard.
The dome measures 9 meters (30 feet) in diameter, 4.5 meters (15 feet) in height, and offers a total
floor area of 64 square meters (685 square feet), accommodating up to 50 people.
Constructed with insulated, laminated, and fully tempered glass, the structure ensures durability,
safety, and noise reduction. The top features opaque glass to minimize heat buildup while
maintaining natural light.
Frame System T-STAR 50. A durable steel frame with a high-quality powder-coated finish. Designed
with an aluminum profile and EPDM sealing for efficient condensate removal.
Equipped with Wi-Fi-controlled LED lighting, an air recuperator, and an air conditioning system
maintaining +20°C (68°F), the dome provides a comfortable learning environment year-round.
Suspended acoustic ceilings eliminate echoes, optimizing sound clarity.
