I originally had the idea to do a cover of this theme but instead, the one by Jake Kaufman from Double Dragon Neon. This is why there may be a little inspiration from the incredible Space Dojo 1 theme from that game.
For the NES at the time though, this was something else though - especially those expertly crafted solo sections, the scales of which really do go hard. I love the "Mission 2" track from Double Dragon, with those sweeping and climbing buildups.
While I think that it might be a tad loud on the balancing, I hope that you enjoy my rendition of this piece. I tried to fill a few empty spaces with a few of my own little solo sections and I actually brought the tune down a few steps, as I really loved the feel that this created, particularly through that main melody into the chorus-like section.
