Join us for an Opening Day 2026 evening at Dorney Park, a classic amusement park in Allentown, Pennsylvania! As the fifth‑oldest continuously operating amusement park in the United States, Dorney enters its 142nd season in 2026 — and we’re here to celebrate with an evening of family fun, coasters, and nostalgia. Our family vlog captures the excitement as we explore this historic park and its thrilling lineup of rides and attractions.
We’re kicking off the new season with some of our favorite coasters, and the night already feels special. The Ray‑Ban Meta Wayfarer Gen 2 camera glasses were locked in with a proper head strap, giving us a rock‑solid setup for filming. With Six Flags’ updated 2026 camera‑glasses policy now in effect across all their owned parks, we were able to capture smooth, immersive Ride POVs so you can experience the night right alongside us.
In this vlog, we hit Dorney Park’s most iconic attractions — Steel Force, still delivering that classic hypercoaster airtime; Hydra the Revenge, snappy, twisty, and always a blast; Thunderhawk, a true wooden coaster legend; and Talon, celebrating 25 years of soaring B&M inverted goodness. We also took a nostalgic ride on The Whip, a historic flat ride dating back to 1918, still whipping riders around with its timeless charm.
Along the way, we checked out some of the new things popping up around the park for 2026… including what looks like a few unexpected “donations” from the recently closed Six Flags America. Yes — even the trash cans have found a new home at Dorney.
It was an awesome evening with family, great energy in the park, and the perfect way to launch the 2026 season. We’re excited for everything this year has in store — and even more excited to bring you along for the ride. As always, thank you for relaxing your reality with us.
