Hazel Ryan, one of our dormouse monitors and member of the Kent Mammal Group, has been part of the National Dormouse Monitoring Programme (NDMP) since the 1990s. Hazel visits this woodland every month to check the 50 dormouse boxes around the site and sees a variety of other wildlife including yellow-necked mice, birds, bees, butterflies and wildflowers. Hazel's work will help conserve the dormouse and the wider biodiversity of the woodland.
