Doom is a game that is no stranger to weird ports, which of course means I am no stranger to Doom. We have already had a look at Doom's GBA ports in a previous video, which was impressive enough by its own rights. But the moment I sat down and played through the Super Nintendo port of the game, I knew I absolutely had to cover it. Often trashed online for its poor gameplay, the SNES version of Doom is an absolute marvel, taking what should be impossible and making it real. But although many say it's impressive that it exists, often that comes with the large caviat that it doesn't play all that well. But I would go as far to say that this port holds up very well everything considered, and I will gladly jump to its defence.
