DOOM The Dark Ages Revelations review – today we’re reviewing id Software’s new DOOM campaign DLC, including the Chain Spear, six new levels, Master Arenas and endgame content.
DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations expands the base game with new enemies, deeper puzzles, revised progression, hidden secrets, tougher encounters, Ripatorium 3.0 and a completely new movement system built around the Chain Spear.
This review also reflects on the reported id Software layoffs and what Revelations could mean for the future of DOOM. If this is the end of an era for the studio, they have delivered one hell of a final chapter.
