This is the new Roland Sound Canvas VA, running in SAVIHost on Windows 7 64-bit. I learned about this from Sky Destroyer, who gave a link to a video by PhilsComputerLab (see the links at the bottom of this description).
The Roland Sound Canvas VA is a VST software synthesizer which emulates the classic Roland Sound Canvas SC-8820 module. It includes maps for SC-55, SC-88, SC-88Pro, and native SC-8820. SCVA's SC-55 mode sounds *almost* exactly like the real SC-55, and it is far more accurate than Roland's 1996 Virtual Sound Canvas (VSC can be heard here - youtu.be/dkcjX2_BcBw )
SCVA can be set up to be used with games and other programs such as DOSBox.
SCVA isn't free however, and has a pretty high price: $125 USD! A time-limited trial is available to download from Roland's website.
While there are still a few differences from the real hardware, SCVA currently has the most accurate SC-55 emulation available. Alternatively, some free SC-55 soundfonts are available online, with varying degrees of accuracy.
