When I was doing my runs with these two levels, things got nasty and pretty annoying every time. I’m just going to say that these two levels will make you deal with last-minute screw-ups.
If you happened to be around a bunch of barrels and if there is an enemy who will destroy them and himself just to take a bead on you, *RUN*. It’s a good thing these barrels have a little delay before exploding. Aside from the barrels, you have an annoying bunch you’ll be dealing with, which are the arch-viles, elementals, chain gunners, and revenants, along with the mix of a group of arachnotrons and their mommy. I don’t worry about facing the pinkies too much since there is a lot of space where you encounter them.
Time to talk about one more level that pisses me off. The Chasm. Oh, where do I even begin. This level starts off pretty smoothly, but once you get to the second area of it, then you’re going to have a hard time, especially if you’re a player who refuses to take his time. You are forced to trudge through the narrow ledges of the square pathways until you reach spots that slowly raises floors from the inescapable nukage you can fall into. On top of that, you’re going to have to deal with levitating enemies like cacodemons and those dumb ass skulls. Oh, and the room before the exit is a maze-like narrow pathway that you’re going to have to go through twice. Hope you’re a keyboard gymnast.
