The Ancient Gods Part Two | Part 3: Immora & The Dark Lord
It has come to this. We finally head into Immora at long last. Using the Gate of Divum, we open a portal to the Capital City of Hell itself. The Dark Lord is waiting us, as is his army. But Doom Slayer ain't doing this alone. Turns out he's getting help. The Betrayer along with Commander Valen and an army of Sentinels arrive to help Doom Slayer defeat the Armies of Hell. There's no going back now folks. It's come to this.
This is where you need to give it everything you have and then some. There's no going back now. Use everything you have to reach the end and confront the Dark Lord. Did I forget to mention that there's another stage after this? Yeah. The final battle against the Dark Lord himself.
The Dark Lord is not really challenging but you need to be aware of one simple thing. To even damage him, you need to stun him when his eyes glow green, just like with the Marauders. You need to be within sword range to do it. Once you daze him, use the Sentinel Hammer to extend the stun. Anytime he hits you, he is automatically healed so you got to be careful. He has five health bars and once you take down one bar, things get tougher. Also using the Sentinel Hammer will kill all Summoned demons. Keep this in mind. The final boss isn't hard. It's a matter of knowing when to attack and when to counter. During the fight, we learn that the Dark Lord created the Father... and the Doom Slayer. And it turned out that his servants turned on the Dark Lord and sealed him away. So now we're doing the whole universe a favor to take his sorry butt out.
After beating the Dark Lord, Doom Slayer unmasks himself. The Dark Lord says if the Doom Slayer has anything to say to him. Doom Slayer responds with a simple “No” and kills him. With the Dark Lord dead, all the demons are now gone. Hell's connection with the universe has been severed. The universe is finally free but the price... was high. Doom Slayer starts feeling uneasy and then passes out. The Father says it best in his own words, “By his hand, all thiings were made... even you.” He is then sealed away in a sarcophagus, now that the universe is finally at peace.

Thus completes The Ancient Gods and with it, Doom Eternal. Thanks for watching as this was one journey I enjoyed very much.
