At Doom's Gate played with the EdgeSounds SoniqBear GM120Pro. MIDI Music composed by Robert Prince.
This is using the soundfont's first GM bank (numbered as bank 0) and Live Drums drumkit.
The SoniqBear is a ~120 MB commercial GM soundfont. It is available from a number of websites, at slightly varying prices, usually around AUD $70... (I purchased it from Producer Loops for AUD $64.17.)
Unlike most other soundfonts which have only 1 GM bank, this soundfont actually contains 4 banks of General MIDI presets, meaning it has *four* versions of each General MIDI instrument--a great variety of sounds for composing MIDI music with. It has 30 drumkits with a large number of different percussion sounds, plus a few bonus ethnic instruments. This soundfont is not suited for orchestral or realistic MIDIs; it focuses on using synthesized sounds for instruments, and is intended for playing, and of course composing, synthy electronic/pop music.
