Shows one way to meet the requirements of the 'Persistence in the Key' Achievement (125G) or Trophy (Bronze) in the 2020 re-release of Doom 64. Password used: V87L 7C28 BDT1 59VB
To unlock this Achievement/Trophy, the player must find all 3 Demon Artifacts in the main campaign. (Demon Artifacts enhance the player's Unmaker weapon, and can be used as special keys/activators elsewhere in the game.)
Note: Using cheats (cheat codes/functions/parameters/console commands) in a game of Doom 64 can prevent Achievements/Trophies from being unlocked during that game. (No cheats were used in the making of this video.) Passwords can be used, and in general will not interfere with unlocking Achievements/Trophies.
The custom-built password used here starts a new game on level 30, The Lair, at Skill 1, 'Be Gentle!', and provides the player with maximum health and armor, all weapons, a backpack, maximum ammo, and 2 of the possible 3 Demon Artifacts. The missing Artifact can be acquired on this level.
