The 2020 remaster of Doom 64, officially called DOOM 64 is a 2020 remaster of the Doom spin-off Doom 64. The Remaster has a different backstory to tie it into Doom 2016/Eternal and bulk of Classic Doom series. The game has been re-released on PC, Microsoft Xbox One, Sony PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch. It was developed via cooperation between Bethesda Softworks, id Software, and Nightdive Studios, and uses a new version of the Doom64 EX codebase, re-developed using Nightdive's KEX 3 engine.
