Fake Story:
After the demon acid cube fortress is cleared out, you find a portal leading to another strange place. It's a cursed garden, infested with hellspawn. Where is this place? You want to find a way back to the demon's heartland, but it looks like you'll have to get through all these demons first.

After clearing out the forest area, you arrive in a massive clearing with a huge mansion. This place was once the home of a giant demon titan. Looks like no one's home anymore. In the titan's absence, there is a giant army of hellspawn. After killing everyone in the mansion, a mysterious room opens up in the cellar. Beyond the door lies a bloody catacomb stacked up to the ceiling with bones. Hopefully this place houses the way back to the demon's heartworld.

Serious Review:
This map is harder than I remember, but really fun. I'm starting to sound like a broken record in these reviews. All of these new maps are hard and fun. This map has great atmosphere and the mansion has some rare elements of realism in Sunder. The mansion for some reason is built at a huge scale, making it seem like you are infiltrating a Giants' house or something, which I think is pretty cool.

The hedge maze is probably one of the most divisive Sunder fights out there. A lot of people don't like it, and I can see where they are coming from. The maze doesn't show up on the automap, meaning you really have to know the layout beforehand to have any chance of success. Furthermore, because you can't see exactly where any enemies spawn, it makes it difficult to form any strategy on your first playthrough.

The maze section was actually much harder in its first incarnation. Insane_gazebo added an extra megasphere and a ton of ammo into the central "base" area in an update. The biggest gripe for me is the annoying impassable midtextures which have a tendency to "grab" you and get you hung up. I guess it makes sense, though, as if they were prickers or something, catching on you.

Overall, I somewhat agree with people about the hedge maze. It's really awkward in some places, but I did fine here, only because I've played this map about 3 times before.
