Click on the timestamp for Map26 to skip the short pause at the intermission screen. I took a drink of water between most maps so the intermission screens can be a little long, sorry.
I popped open the Advanced HUD at the end of every map to check monsters and secrets. There's no way I'm gonna get through the whole thing and miss a kill.
I had wanted to do this for a while, but map31 was impossible, or so I thought. Special thanks to Starduster, who pointed me to tchkb's episode 3 demo and made me realize
a full max was possible. Thanks tchkb and Starduster!
I tried to keep the run "kinda fast." It's not world record splits, but I was moving at a good pace for the most part. Then episode 6 hit. My playing got really careful there and I probably could have been faster, but I really didn’t want to die there. I almost died carelessly to a distant cyber rocket in map30. Lots of other close calls happened in the later episodes too, where I tried to 2-shot cybers and got cold feet.
Anyway, I'm proud of my run and I'm not gonna try for a better time. Maybe J4rio can give it a go and go sub-3, who knows.
