It is once again DOOBIE TIME!!! Todays' featured original song from the DoobJoob YoobToob archives is Pool Hall Betty and is another video from our recent live performance at the Hallowoosh 12 event at On The Point Brewing in Mars, Pennsylvania a couple of weekends ago (October 30th, 2021). Many thanks to our good friends Dizzy Woosh (of which 2 members are also members of Doobie Jubilee) for allowing us to share the stage with them for Hallowoosh 12. A splendid time was had by all. I have a couple more of our originals to share in coming weeks, hope you stop back and check 'em out.
The song, Pool Hall Betty, is a Doobie Jubilee original that Johnny Lager wrote in its entirety. It is a tune that we have been working on for our upcoming EP and Is another one that I love how it is taking shape at this point. This one features some outstanding Harmonica playing by our resident harp player Scottie Lawnchair while playing the drum kit no less. We have about 15 original tunes at this point but have been focusing on firming up 7 or 8 of those at this point and this is one of them. Apologies for the jump scare with the poster mid way through, the camera starts a new file when the current file gets to 3.9gb and this was a cut where that happened.
