Would you throw away what’s left of a rotisserie chicken? Don’t do it! Today I’m showing you how I turn those leftovers into another delicious, easy dinner — homemade green chili! This is exactly the kind of meal I make when I’m tired, don’t feel like cooking, and still want something really good for dinner.
But that’s only part of today’s adventure! Come along as we hunt for thrift store treasures, uncover a $40 rug, debate a bargain kerosene heater, work on the NEW Candies and Fudge Cookbook, and give you a behind-the-scenes sneak peek while we’re desperately trying to finish it on time! 😂
I’m also tackling some outdoor decorating projects, showing you what’s blooming in the garden, and introducing you to the adorable little deer who keep eating my flowers. Then we’ll head back into the kitchen to finish our green chili with onions, green chilies, jalapeños, garlic, cilantro and all those delicious leftovers.
It’s an easy dinner, bargain hunting, cookbook chaos, garden projects and everyday life all rolled into one!
