Gellot | Don't Starve Together - Crab King Boss [Solo, No Damage] @Gellot | Uploaded 4 years ago | Updated 10 hours ago
It gets harder and harder to fight these bosses alone.

This is a very tough boss for a solo player. And even with this strategy, it's more likely that I will just drown if I try it again.
The stats of this boss increase depending on what gems you insert. I used Pearl's Pearl (you need it for unique drops) and 8 purple gems. The pearl counts as 3 gems of each color and purple gems increase the number of geysers. The geysers are the least annoying part of this battle.
Even at level 3, the boss has a lot of health, and you also have to deal with his regenerating claws. I had to increase my damage as much as possible. Wolfgang's Mighty form deals up to 200% damage, Volt Goat Chaud-Froid multiples it by 1.5 and Chili Flakes seasoning adds extra 20%. As a result, i got the maximum of 245 points of damage instead of default 68.
[(68x2)x1.5]x1.2 = 245
Both the food and the seasoning are exclusive to Warly. I originally played as Maxwell, so I had to switch my character 2 times.
When below 85% of health, Crab King starts healing himself. At level 3, every time he picks a rock, you have to hit him 2 times to interrupt him. If you're alone, you won't hit him quick enough with melee. This is why I used Weather Pain, which is a weak weapon by itself, but it can quickly deal multiple hits and interrupt the healing.
He has an attack where he lowers the temperature of players around him and then later freezes them. This is actually the only time where you can take damage (if you don't count drowning). I used Beefalo Hat to protect myself from low temperature. As for the freezing, at level 3 the range of attack is not too big, so I could just run to the edge of the boat to avoid it.
The geysers and the claws constantly deal damage to the boat and if you're alone, you won't be able to fix everything in time. The solution? More boats. This is one of the hardest parts, as you don't have much time to react before the boat breaks and to place a boat, there must be no obstacles below it. All the rubbish from broken boats, meat from the dead claws and any alive claws near you won't let you place a boat on them.
