The US forest Service.....Love them or Hate them, they are all we have to fight these Forest Fires.
Personally, I don't believe they have done a good job managing our forests. They ended logging, allowed pine beetles to destroy large areas, and harass firewood cutters.....Now I'm afraid they are going to go the other direction, and log off too much, but only time will tell about that. Like them or not, doesn't matter......they are in charge and all we have on these forest fires. Stay out of the way and let them do their job.
