"...bones sinking like stones..."

This video is for Dylan (dylidan33) for winning second place on mine and Laura (lbchatterbox)'s Family Ties Contest. Dylan asked me to make a video about the Gallaghers to this song and I'm SO glad! I absolutely adored making this, I missed vidding this show. I decided to focus on how much they've all struggled but how they stick together and that helps them get through hard times. I mostly used seasons 1-3 since they're my favourites and that's when everyone lives at home and the family dynamic is even stronger. I still love the later seasons but I feel like those 3 are really the heart of the show. Anyways I hope you all like this, especially you Dyl as I know for sure you had an idea of how you wanted this to turn out and I hope this lives up to your expectations!

Voiceovers:
Fiona: My mother is bipolar and my father is an alcoholic and an addict. He takes what he pleases and he offers nothing. No money, no support.

Fiona: You don't get to abandon your kids and then show up one day to take your pick of the litter. This is about you. This is about what you didn't do. It's about what I did and you know what? I did a fucking great job.

Fiona: Good job Fiona, I don't know how I could do this without you.

Fiona: I've done what I could to help raise my siblings, I wish I could have done more.

Monica: But you should never feel ashamed about what and who you are.

Fiona: I just want to be able to give these kids everything that they deserve because they're great kids and they deserve better.

Fiona: Get out of bed mom!

Lip: Name a single time I've let you down.

Ian: We all have our problems with Frank, he's still my father. And Fiona is my sister and you're my brother, Debbie, Carl, Liam, we're a family.

Fiona: Debbie is class president, she's on the debate team going to nationals. Lip, he's top of his class, he set the curve. Ian got promoted in ROTC and he tested out of English and Carl made something blow up for his science fair. And you know what they did it all no thanks to you because you weren't here.

Fiona: I want you home Lip, we all do.

Carl: I just want to say thanks for being a great sister.

Lip: You're not perfect Fiona, none of us are.

Lip: You're okay.

Fiona: Is it okay if I say that I'm proud of you?

Lip: You've always been there for us, I think we've taken it for granted, you know, I know I have.
