Beware the French “chat” pitfall! 😹

Especially online, knowing how to refer to “the chat” can save you from quite the blush-worthy blunder. 😳

The pronunciation of “chat”(like in chatbox) is pretty identical English with a little bit more of a French sound.

Avoid over-Frenchifying the pronuncation and steer clear from the 'CH' trap that could lead to a misunderstanding, because it also has a very different, less innocent meaning: “vagina” 🚫😼
