THIS VIDEO IS NOT FOR KIDS! It is a fan made music video for teen ages and up.
It's been a while since I've done a trailer! A VERY long time actually, so I'm kind of rusty when it comes to these things. I know this is unusual from what I normally do but I had WAY too much fun with this! Once I thought of this combo together, the idea just wouldn't leave me alone! Both movies involve comets/asteroids coming to Earth, although the one in Your Name didn't destroy the entire planet. The lip sync was difficult but fun, and I made all the text. It's pretty much the same font as the original Don't Look Up trailer. I know the actors were mentioned in the original too, but I thought that went by too fast, and it would have been even harder to replicate here. So I mixed the text up a little bit! I even made the Netflix logo at the end (not exactly like it so no one would think I just stole the original haha)
You might have noticed that I didn't only use Your Name, but Weathering With You as well. This was because of the somewhat limited scene selection when it came to all the different characters in the trailer. I almost ran out of casting options, but using another movie helped with that!

They have lots of awesome stuff! I thought it fit the end of the world theme I was going for!
Speaking of the end of the world, yes, I chose that specific date at the end of the vid for a REASON ;)
