When we value keeping the peace over speaking the truth, we aren't protecting people; we are enabling confusion and oftentimes, abuse in the name of Jesus. (And, it isn't biblical.) Discernment is a muscle we have to use, and while we are instructed to be slow to speak in some regards, there are definitive times to say something. We can grow in our ability to receive and give correction with grace, remain teachable, and develop discernment.
