This is a video I did a while back, but was blocked for copyright. Now, let me post this for you to see with its original audio, courtesy of the wonderful Josh Groban, who is one of my dearest loves in music, and definitely one of the most beautiful tenor voices I know. This song was originally written toward all of those in need of charity all over the world, and so in this I wanted to give a perspective on those that needed help in Disney films, and needed to believe to meet their dreams...whether having little material possession, like Cinderella or Aladdin, having little love like the Beast or Mulan, or wanting something more, in the case of Belle, Jasmine, Shang and the Prince. Yes, even one like Cinderella's prince needs some faith: I rather did like that Cinderella III gave him a voice, when he is confronted with the idea of needing to find who really owns his heart...even if they still couldn't bother to give him a name. Geh. Anyway...there are some things I wish I could fix, but overall I'm very fond of this project, and I hope you all enjoy this!

Oooookay, so Ive been making Non/Disney crossover MEP parts for a while now, and all the while I kept thinking, Gee Id really love to do something full-length, so I finally bit the bullet and decided to give this project a try. I know my crossover-ing isnt that incredible hell, my masking software is pretty much just Microsoft Paint so I figured the only way this video could be anything other than a complete embarrassment was to go for ships that no one had ever attempted before and then string them together with each section colored a certain way to tell them apart...and thus this video really just looks like I did a MEP by myself. XD;; There are a lot of things I dont love about this video and I know this song has been used to DEATH, but here it is nonetheless with all of its flaws. I am really glad I was able to do these couples, since theyve all been in my head for a while now and I wonder why they havent been done before (possible answer: there is never enough Ghibli, Gargoyles, or Prince of Egypt love). To keep up with each story, here are explanations of each section!!
-Arren/Belle- Prince Arren and Belle are friends on the edge of becoming something more. One day Arren is sent to an insane asylum by his father, the King. Even after he is released, Arren refuses to forgive his father for what he did to him, and he kills the King, all while Belle is watching. Horrified at what Arren has become, Belle runs away.
-Goliath/Esmeralda- Esmeralda has a fond relationship with Goliath, a living Gargoyle who guards the cathedral of Notre Dame. One day, when Goliath turns to stone (something all Gargoyles do when the sun rises), Esmeralda is arrested by Judge Frollo and burned at the stake. When Goliath wakes up that night, he is grief-stricken to find the beautiful Gypsy lying dead in a bed beside him.
-Macbeth/Anya- Anya is a princess who is in love with an older gentleman named Macbeth. Her grandmother disapproves of the match, and Anya doesnt know why. Finally Macbeth admits the truth to her when he was younger, he was part of her fathers court, but was cast out and dishonored when he killed a man in a duel.
-Genie/Tzipporah- One day Tzipporah finds a magic lamp that contains a powerful Genie. The two become close friends, and finally Genie trusts Tzipporah enough to confide in her his greatest wish: to be free. Tzipporah, who has grown fond of Genie and thought he likewise felt something for her, feels betrayed by this and the two get into an argument that ends with Genie returning to his lamp in anger.
-Rameses/Madeleine- Pharaoh Rameses has fallen in love with the beautiful young circus entertainer Madeleine, who likewise is very fond of him. One day the Pharaoh learns from his Captain of the Guard, Phoebus, of a plot by Madeleines master, Saroush, to steal from him. Thinking Madeleine was also involved, the heartbroken Rameses orders his guards to lock her up.

-Arren/Belle- After some thinking, Arren goes after Belle. Good thing too, since he arrives just in time to save her from a pack of wolves.
-Goliath/Esmeralda- Unable to live without Esmeralda, Goliath uses the magical Phoenix Gate to go back in time and rescue her.
-Macbeth/Anya- Anya stays by Macbeth despite his past, and they are married and crowned king and queen. Anyas grandmother finally accepts their love for the sake of her granddaughters happiness.
-Genie/Tzipporah- Tzipporah realizes her mistake and sets Genie free.
-Rameses/Madeleine- One night Rameses goes down to see Madeleine in the palace dungeon and she pleads with him, saying she would never betray his trust. The Pharaoh knows in his heart that shes telling the truth and gives her another chance.")

This video I realize is a bit different for me not only is me using Non/Disney relatively new, but I rarely use my videos to make any kind of political message. In this, however, it is unavoidable. I was ten years old when Al Qaeda attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on 9/11 my mother was only on her second day at her new job several blocks from the Pentagon when the attack commenced. I was in school and had just gotten back from lunch when we were released with an early dismissal. My mother was just barely able to fight the traffic and pick me up from school, and we turned on the news as soon as we got home. Until I saw the planes hitting the Towers in New York City, not too far from where my grandparents lived, I was still a child, content to stay in a world of imagination and dreaminess with no concept of the real world. My innocence shattered that day, as did the innocence of many other children, and I will never forget it. In the weeks, months, and years afterward, I as a young preteen swallowed up everything I could from the news and the people around me, trying to figure out all the whos, whats, and whys about the world that caused the attack to happen. The invasion of Afghanistan at the time didnt make that much sense to me considering most of the terrorists were from Iran, but my parents accepted it, so I reluctantly did as well. Then, one day in school, a classmate of mine started saying that we were going into Iraq because Saddam Hussein was responsible for 9/11. I, in all of my arrogance as a smart, only faintly politically savvy twelve-year-old girl, said that he was an idiot and that he was confusing Saddam with Osama bin Laden. Only when I got home and turned on the news did I realize that EVERYONE was making this mistake even, apparently, our own government. I protested the war at the ripe old age of twelve, even when no one else in my school or, it seemed, my countrys legislative body or news programs were asking any questions. And it turned out, though as a preteen I could never have fathomed it, that everything justifying this war in Iraq was a lie created and promoted by the people we had chosen to run our country. I had thought that surely no one running our government could make up something like this that it had had to have been a miscommunication that everyone stupidly ran with but it was, and even now no one has been prosecuted or punished for the lies told by the Bush administration. Members of Bushs administration even still have credibility on our airwaves and in our political circles Karl Rove is a regular guest on Fox News and fifteen of presidential hopeful Mitt Romneys foreign policy advisers were members of Bushs cabinet. Worst of all, most recently, there have been politicians such as Senator John McCain who have been trying to white-wash history by declaring that the Iraq War was justified. Well, if such people want to try and cover up the blatant deception of the American people orchestrated by greedy, moral-less war hawks that led to what we call the Iraq War, then they will have to also silence the voices of those who remember what happened. This war is still young, and not so much time has gone by that we will forget what happened. If they try to throw a sheet over our history and pretend it doesnt exist, then we must tear it down with our memories and our voices. To all those who believe that the Iraq War was justified, just remember...

No matter what your political affiliation, we cant let ourselves stick our heads in the sand and forget this the way others are trying to forget the Vietnam War. It is clear by now that those who forget their mistakes are doomed to repeat them, and so we should never forget the Iraq War and the Afghanistan War and the lies that started them. One is over and the other will hopefully end soon...but we have caused so much pain to the Iraqis and Afghans that will never heal, and I for one will never forget the deaths of not only our soldiers, but of the innocent civilians of a country we only invaded because of a lie. And so this video is a tribute to those hurt by the war...the men, women, and children who died in it and the friends, families, and fellow citizens who grieve for their loss.")

Yay, another MEP hosted by yours truly...the theme for this one is love of all kinds, whether familial, romantic, or friendship, and isnt just restricted to animation anything can be used, whether a movie, a TV show, an anime, a video game, whatever. And heres a peek at just a few of my favorite relationships in my different canons, including a new one at the very end that I just picked up from the new Hobbit film. The film itself really pisses me off because of how much fat they added to the book (I mean, seriously, did you have to tell half of the story in the first of three three-hour movies, Peter Jackson?), but the relationships in the movie were amazing, as was the acting of the main characters. And Richard Armitage is my new baby. 8D
