Although Israel is not to be blamed for the origins of the conflict, it must recognize that today it does have the power and the abilities necessary to heal the situation. While enemies of Israel must be faced harshly and without fear, Israel must also understand where the source of those problems come from, rather than just responding to the symptoms once it’s too late.
In fact, the very mission of the Jewish Nation is to heal the world and be a light to all nations. Israel must realize that Hamas’ biggest win will not be how many Jews they murdered, but how many Jews they turned to seeing others through their lens of hatred and darkness.Jews must remember that they are the People of Light, and that does not mean being weaker on our enemies, but it does mean creating the conditions to heal what produced them in the first place.
