Don’t Get Sankofa-ed !! | Labour Day Saturday in Toronto – Scams, D -ed out people - Dundas Square & What’s Left of ZanzibarLabour Day weekend in Toronto and the streets are doing what they do best. We start with some pure dilapidation and run into police setting up to hand out safety tips about scammers… only to immediately get allured straight into the classic Flowers Scam and a beggar with a kid. Was it a scam? You decide. Then it’s the usual Dundas Square coverage — crowds watching, energy flowing, Toronto just being Toronto. We pass by what’s left of Zanzibar and clock the last girl still on the poster for the club display. The club itself is gone after the fire, but the poster remains like a ghost of the old strip.
