She likens it to being a prisoner of our own minds, unable to access the deeper peace that is available to everyone. The key, she says, lies in becoming aware of these thoughts and recognizing that they are not aligned with the truth of who we are. "You have to cut off the food supply," she advises, meaning that we must focus our attention on pure being and the present moment, rather than on the thoughts themselves.
