Late season Muzzleloader hunting isn't something you hear a lot about. By the time the late hunting season rolls around, most hunters have either filled their tags or hung it up in favor of a comfortable couch and a football game on TV. But for those diehard hunters still out there winter camping in a wall tent, late muzzleloader seasons can offer some of the best elk and deer hunting imaginable. In this black powder elk hunting adventure, I'm carrying my .50 caliber flintlock rifle - fun to shoot, but a challenge to keep operating in late winter weather conditions.
