This is what can happen if you use a battery jump starter incorrectly! So here’s what this all-in-one car gadget can do. And how to use it properly.
The Utrai JS-30 is a tyre inflator, flood light, power bank, OBD scanner, and a jump starter.
The inflator’s actually pretty good - accurate to around 1 PSI amd and topped up my tyre in roughly 90 seconds. Perfect for quick roadside top-ups or before a long drive.
The “2000 lumens” flood light is nowhere near 2000 lumens, but still useful - and there’s a red emergency flash mode for breakdowns.
The power bank isn’t the fastest I’ve tested, but if your phone’s flat and it’s all you’ve got it’s very handy.
There’s even an OBD scanner to check fault codes and battery voltage wirelessly from your phone - great if you’re trying to diagnose a problem on the side of the road.
But the main feature is the jump starter. Here’s how to use it safely. Red clamp to positive, black to negative, check for green LED and start the engine. Never turn on Boost mode before you connect the clamps!
