Don’t lose power on your serve, do this instead:
When you pause or slow the racquet during the drop phase, you break the kinetic chain, lose momentum and force the body to re-accelerate from a dead stop.
The best servers maintain a continuous flow from the trophy position into the racquet drop, preserving momentum and maximising the stretch-shortening cycle to create greater racquet head speed with less effort.
Stay relaxed, let the racquet flow, then accelerate aggressively up into the ball.
More power. Better timing. Greater consistency.
🎾 Save this for your next serving session and share it with a player who needs to see it.
