While George overdubbed his vocal double track, Paul played a Wood Block (Claves), John played Tambourine and Ringo played an Arabian Bongo. The instruments used in our video are not accurate to the original recording, but the closest choice for what we have available. Paul's part is the easiest to distinguish. Ringo's part sounds like it has some pickup double notes as opposed to just quarter notes. John's part does not sound like he is shaking the tambourine, although I've read quotes about him shaking it. All I hear are single hits on the two and four, with the occasional pickup 16th note hit. This part almost sounds like a closed hi-hat, there is very minimal noise between hits. This is why I used a tambourine that I could dampen with the palm of my hand.
