DON’T BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF.
Beating yourself up doesn’t make you better. This actually can perpetuate the cycle of you doing the very thing you didn’t wanna do, again. You can hold yourself accountable without beating yourself up.
Instead of saying “I should have…” I started saying “Next time I will…” Game changer. That’s progressive. Remember, you’re a human being and we’re going to make mistakes. It’s INEVITABLE. God doesn’t even hold you to the standard of perfection so why are you holding yourself to that? 💡
Remember, grace is from God. Shame is from satan.
His grace is sufficient & His strength is made perfect in weakness.
