I had the opportunity to try out the Donner DWS-2 Wireless Guitar System. In this video I go over the basic features of the DWS-2 and test out the range of the unit. It has almost identical transmitter and receiver units that will fit any guitar, including a Stratocaster. I was able to walk about 60-70 feet way with the unit. There were some very short dropouts as I was walking. I think this was due to the movements, but if I stayed in the same place, it would not be a problem. Also, I was testing the walking around range of the unit at a distance. If It was a shorter distance away, I don’t think there would be any problem. I think this is a decent beginner wireless guitar unit. If you are not sure if you would want one and surely don’t want to drop a few hundred dollars on a unit… I recommend trying out the Donner DWS-2 Wireless Guitar System.
