"JUSTICE FOR HEEHAW": A Cedartown farm owner is demanding answers after police shot and killed her one-year-old donkey during an overnight search for a missing child.
The family says officers entered Elsberry Farms around 12:45am on Sunday without notifying them, tased "HeeHaw" when he approached them, then shot him. They say it took them an hour to find Heehaw's body after police left.
Cedartown Police Chief Jamie Newsome has handed the investigation to the Georgia Department of Agriculture, and the officer involved is on administrative leave.
