Donkey Kong Racing was a racing game announced at Space World (Nintendo E3) of 2000. The game was being produced by Rare and followed a similar style of Diddy Kong Racing for Nintendo 64 (but with animals instead of Karts). The production was canceled due to the acquisition of Rare by Microsoft, which generated the cancellation of this and several other games that were being produced for the GameCube.
