Ok, the time trials definitely solidify Castle Crush as the second-worst stage in the game. Windy Well is still definitely the third-worst, but the sheer length of Castle Crush made perfecting the speedrun drag SO BADLY.
Stat of the day: This is and will forever remain the only video in the series where the episode number matches the year that the game was released.

You know, I think a big part of my problem with this game is a matter of expectations. The way it presents itself, and the way it works at the start, it creates the expectation of fairness that it doesnt follow through on later. If it were up-front about being unfair, like Kaizo Mario World or I Wanna Be The Guy, I dont think I would hate it as much.
Stat of the day: 46.8% of the creatures in this game have not been seen since Donkey Kong Land 2.

Its really sad that our third game with e-Reader support is the last one well see of it. Once again, a Nintendo product with so much potential just never caught on enough to be fully realized.
