Donkey Kong 64 ~ Tool-Assisted Speedrun.
This is my first TAS i ever did on the Bizhawk emulator, i tried TASing on it months ago but i got really quick angry over using the Virtual Pad there which is like the TAS Input Plugin for mupen64.
It's really a hard decision to switch after 7 years with mupen to a different emulator, mupen is a really great N64 emulator for TASing except of the desync with a few games, when i did Majoras Mask or Donkey Kong 64 TAS videos on mupen i had to deal with a lot of desync, and this isn't really a nice way to check out your files every few seconds if they playback correctly, also when they playbacked correctly they sometimes decided to desync anyway, so this was really not an option to keep working with, more and more of my TASing friends switched to Bizhawk and told me its a great emulator, yeah i didn't have a single desynch while making this Donkey Kong 64 TAS but i don't have the same feeling with TASing with using Bizhawk it will take a long time till i get used to it, the most problem is that the emulator doesn't work in fullspeed for all games + the Virtual Pad(a different kind of a TAS Input Plugin)is really laggy, and that i can't playback a movie file with a different video plugin, so if i record my movie with Jabu, and wanna playback it with Glide as example this won't work, the emulator goes back to Jabu right after playback the movie, sorry for all the complaining, but these are a few things with bother me, i think the emulator is good though, it has a lot of great futures, i am just a newbie with it still, i will try keep working with this emulator with the time, and hope i get quick used to it.
Also it's improvable i think i will re-do this part.
Feel free to like the video if you enjoyed it or to dislike if you think it doesn't have an entertaing value and you didn't enjoy it.

This game is a Rom-Hack of Super Mario 64
This run can be improved with a better BLJ angle. But that run save still about 3 seconds compare with the previous record from me and MrHigmatar. Potencial for sub 13 is here! [Just for demonstration]
Thanks at ReneBalow for encode this run!

This TAS was done on the Japanese version, but unfortunately it turned out it wasnt faster also this version has to wait on the second last target + this video is a N64 plugin test video this plugin looks extremely similar as a real N64 and has no graphic errors, please tell me if this looks better, becaue it hasnt the best qaulity in return.
You can download the .m64 + .st file here (Its the Japanese version)

I mostly copied the strat Blaze was using, i tried to find out a better one, but for now without success, i might try and looking for a better strat in the next days. Only the slipping of the ledge and a different boomerang throw is different.
Huge thanks to MTA who made this possible. Without him i wouldnt be able to use different charackters in other Break the Targest stages on mupen64.
