This is the second time my daughter randomly started talking about this guy named "Donald Trumpet," and he sounds like the worst person in the universe. At the end, after talking about everything he's destroyed (everything from Santa, the children, their parents, the planet, and the entire universe) when asked who this person is, she says "He's fake." What happens when she learns this man is real?
Note - we purposefully never discuss political issues with our kids (we generally subscribe to the Rousseau approach to rearing outlined in "Emile."), so I can only assume she is picking up some random negative association from the schoolyard. We do live in the NYC liberal bubble, after all.
