Speaking to a crowd of about 1,500 people at a campaign stop in Kent County on Friday, Donald Trump promised to put in place tariffs on foreign products and bring jobs back to Michigan. Trump blamed President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for destroying Michigan’s auto industry by shipping jobs overseas and implementing an “electric vehicle mandate,” something the Harris campaign has denied.
