I came up with the idea to sample one of the greatest hip hop records ever made, by one of the best O.G. rappers in the game, while doing a mini tour with Metro Boomin' and Quavo. Every night the crowd was this wild mix of hip hop fans and house heads, so I wanted to create something that kept that raw hip hop flavor alive on the drops as well. The reaction has been insane from the very first play, so releasing it wasn’t even a choice anymore! This one’s for the fans around the world!
