Two flicker books that show Don Bradman demonstrating the batting strokes - square cut, late cut, pull, and leg glance.
In the 1930s, most young cricketers would have coveted batting tuition from Australia's famous batsman, Don Bradman (1908 - 2001). Flicker books such as these could show you detailed techniques with the bat. They were designed to be easily carried in your pocket, and could therefore be taken out onto the field.
These were published in London by Flicker Productions in 1931, a year Bradman was named cricketer of the year in the 'Wisden's Cricketer's Almanack'.
