Perun | Dominions 5 Nation Analysis - EA Rus @PerunAU | Uploaded June 2021 | Updated October 2024, 5 days ago.
EA Rus is a hybrid nation of size two humans and their (better) size two colleagues the Chudes, living their best life in a primarily rural Slavic Pagan setting.
As you'd expect from people that probably worship at least one Perun analogue, these guys love axes, and they love lightning, being able to bring the air magic in a manner that only a few other elite air powers can compete with.
They're certainly not overpowered, but when you combine a decently wide magical suite with deep air access (for the battlefield dominance against non SR opponents) as well as enough fire, astral, and nature that you can make it relevant, they can certainly hold their own. Foreign recruitable mages and stealthy, foreign recruit premium axe-warrior knock offs round out the roster.....until you get to the summons list, which is one of the longest in Dominions.
There you will find assassins, flying holy-3s, and a giant tentacle monster that you can airdrop into lakes you don't like. It's not mega effective, but it is bloody funny.
Thank you so much to my patrons for sponsoring this video. Find my Patreon here if you'd like to support content of this kind. Also credit to Lucid and his video on this nation, because I flagrantly poach his concept of one of the cheaper regen titan options from his video.
