The Dominica Red Cross brought immediate and continuing relief to thousands of people on the island of Dominica in the wake of Tropical Storm Erika, which devastated the Eastern Caribbean island on August 28th, 2015. Over one thousand people had to be evacuated from the hardest hit communities.
