One of the biggest improvements of the Domestic Terminal Security Upgrade project is behind the scenes in the baggage system - an area many passengers don't ever see or think about. This world-class system will centralise checked baggage operations across the entire terminal to replace the three separate baggage systems originally installed in the 1980's. The baggage upgrades require nearly 100 separate phases to ensure we impact passengers and operations as little as possible.
