When Idaho Falls Police Department officers responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex on December 22, 2025, they were not prepared for what would unfold moments later.
After speaking with the two people involved in the dispute, a young soon-to-be married couple, 26-year-old Eduardo Trejo & an unnamed female. Officers determined there were sufficient grounds to arrest Eduardo, afterr noticing visible marks on his fiancé's neck.
However, when officers attempted to place Eduardo under arrest, the situation quickly escalated. Bodycam shows the moment he lunged for a knife which lead to a phsyical struggle. The encounter ultimately ended in Eduardo being gunned down in his own home.
