Au cœur de cet album : l’odyssée d’IMOTH. Ce personnage aperçu dans Hordhen, notre précédent album, s’émancipe et franchit les frontières de son univers. Poussé par le dégoût de sa condition et une soif insatiable d’ailleurs, il s’aventure au-delà de tout ce qu’il a connu.
Durant son périple, il traverse des étendues vastes, aux reliefs mystérieux et mouvants, où se mêlent les rencontres fascinantes et les visages parfois hostiles. Bientôt, ce paysage insolite le transforme : il ne se reconnaît plus, hésitant et flottant dans l’incertitude.
Des murmures l’enjoignent pourtant de poursuivre, des chants incantatoires rythment ses pas. Guidé par ces voix, il avance jusqu’à prononcer son ultime prière, une invocation à des divinités sans nom. Dans un souffle funèbre et renaissant, tout s’achève et recommence sous les lueurs d’un pourpre crépuscule, annonçant une nuit écarlate.
At the heart of this album lies the odyssey of IMOTH. This character, who appeared in Hordhen, our previous album, breaks free and crosses the boundaries of his world. Driven by disgust for his condition and an insatiable thirst for elsewhere, he ventures beyond everything he has ever known.
During his journey, he crosses vast expanses of mysterious and shifting landforms, where fascinating encounters and sometimes hostile faces abound. Soon, this odd realm transforms him: he no longer recognises himself, hesitant and floating in uncertainty.
Yet whispers urge him to continue, incantatory songs punctuating his steps. Guided by these voices, he moves forward until he utters his final prayer, an invocation to nameless deities. In a funeral and rebirth breath, everything ends and begins again under the glow of a purple twilight, heralding a scarlet night.
