On March 19, 2016 I was down in Tennessee attending an event with The Coaster Crew called "Lighting Rod Roundup". This event took place on Opening Day and was one of the best weekends I had ever had. This event included breakfast, a tour of Mystery Mine, ERT on Mystery Mine and Wild Eagle, Lunch and an auction in Blue Ribbon Pavilion, VIP seating for Mother Africa, an evening social with deserts and hot cocoa, and an hour of ERT on Thunderhead.
Sadly Lighting Rod was not open. At first I was extremely upset but Dollywood could not have been better with the situation. They gave all the people that attended the event a free ticket to come back another time to ride Lighting Rod! Thanks Dollywood!
This was truly one of the best weekends I have ever had and I owe that to my friend Brad. If it were not for him I would not have been able to go to this amazing park! Thank you so much Brad!
