Nearly a week after the death of Dolly Parton, the singer’s family is speaking publicly for the first time as her niece, Jada Star, honored her aunt on the Grand Ole Opry stage. Parton was laid to rest during a private funeral in Nashville where she was reportedly buried next to her husband of 59 years, Carl Dean. NBC’s Joe Fryer reports for TODAY.
