Hi friends! Welcome to another episode of Thrifty Thursday, when I do a throwback of a low-budget organizer and/or home decor! A few years back, I introduced here in my channel what I called - "Decorganizer", which is an item that can be used either as an organizer or as a home decor or both! Hope you the one that I made 6 years ago and enhanced 4 years ago. Enjoy!
Materials used:
2 Dollar Tree plastic paddle-shaped cutting board (if you are unable to find one, Dollar Tree also sells bigger wooden paddleboards that are bigger for $3 each.
2 black 11.5" x 7.5" black Dollar Tree art frames
1 Dollar Tree wooden rolling pin
1 Dollar Tree wire wastebasket
12" x 5" foam core board
E6000 or any strong bond glue
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Wire cutter or heavy-duty scissors
White chalk paint (Acrylic paint would do. I used Waverly chalk paint from Walmart)
Paintbrush
Dollar Tree black 1/2" wide ribbon
Dollar Tree nautical rope
Black and white buffalo check plaid gift wrapping paper (I got mine at Target Dollar Spot for $1) - You can choose any design. I just love the buffalo check pattern :)
Glossy Mod Podge (I got mine at Dollar Tree, but you can get them at Walmart or any craft stores)
Optional seasonal decorations:
1 Dollar Tree fall sign "Thankful" - there are other options for Fall decor at Dollar Tree.
